This year’s Connections program brings faith to life through hands-on, age-appropriate learning built around the theme “It Is Sunnah,” where every student learns a new Sunnah in each class. Across 24 weeks, students explore Islamic art and calligraphy, discover the deep links between the Quran and modern science, and dive into the five pillars of Islam through crafts, activities, and storytelling, including a memorable Hajj simulation to close out the year. The curriculum also weaves in social and emotional learning grounded in the character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), covering topics like kindness, standing up to bullying, good manners, and the rights of neighbors, friends, and the poor. With engaging projects such as sunnah checklists, friendship activities, and prophet story lessons tailored to each grade level, Connections is designed to help children build a lasting love for their faith while developing strong character and emotional intelligence.
