Curriculum Day – Parents’ Attendance Required

Dear Parents, Assalamu Alaikum

The ICN Al-Falah Academy is committed to maintaining effective communication between parents and teachers regarding your child’s education. One of these means is the Curriculum Day – a very important event for parents where you will be presented details on what your children will be learning this year.

Curriculum Day 2014 will be held THIS Saturday, November 1st based on the following schedule:
10:10 am – 10:40 am (Forum Room) – Pre-K to 3rd Grade
10:50 am – 11:20 am (Forum Room) – 4th Grade to 7th Grade
11:30 am – 12:00 pm (Forum Room) – Youth Program

Please Note: Regular classes will be held for the students during the Curriculum Day Program.

With Halloween around the corner, there are always questions in Muslim parents’ minds on what we should do.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for those under your care. A man is a shepherd, and he is responsible for those under his care. The woman is a shepherd in her husband’s household and she is responsible for those under her care.” [Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim].

Here is a good article for Muslim parents with tips on how to talk to their children about Halloween:
